We have a new opportunity for a Line Chef/Grill Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team in The Bears Head Penarth.
What's the Role?
As a Line Chef/Grill Chef, you will play a crucial role in our culinary operations by working closely with the head chef and other kitchen team. Your responsibilities will include:
- Food Preparation: Preparing and cooking food items to the restaurant's standards and specifications.
- Cleaning and Sterilizing: Maintaining a clean and organised workspace, ensuring all tools and equipment are sterilised and in good condition.
- Health and Safety Compliance: Adhering to all health and safety standards and regulations to guarantee a safe working environment.
- Dishwashing: Assisting in dishwashing duties as needed to support the kitchen flow.
- Assistance to Kitchen Staff: Collaborating with team members to ensure smooth operations during service.
Skills and Expertise
- Proficient in cleaning, sterilising, and maintaining kitchen hygiene.
- Strong background in food preparation and cooking techniques.
