General Manager - The Philharmonic, Cardiff

The Philharmonic is one of Cardiff’s most iconic venues and a flagship site within the Croeso Pubs estate. Trading from daytime through to late night, it sits at the heart of the city’s hospitality scene and operates in a fast-paced, highly competitive market.

Due to internal progression, we are now seeking an exceptional General Manager to lead this landmark business through its next phase.

The Role

You’ll have full ownership of the venue, driving commercial performance, leading large teams and delivering outstanding guest experiences across all-day and late-night trading sessions. This is a hands-on role for a confident leader who thrives in a high-energy environment.

What We’re Looking For

·       Proven previous experience as a General Manager (or equivalent senior leadership role) within high-volume hospitality, late-night or multi-offer venues

·         A clear understanding of business discipline, financial controls and commercial decision-making with full P&L responsibility

·       Experience succeeding in a multi offer operation, in a challenging financial climate and under fierce local competition

·       The flexibility, stamina and resilience to manage personal and staff hours across varied trading patterns

·       A clear track record of ensuring full compliance with licensing, health & safety and brand standards

·       Personal Licence holder (essential)

·       Able to provide strong professional references
