The Brewhouse is a Cardiff icon with an atmosphere as diverse as the crowds we
serve. From lazy brunches to late-night parties, this isn't just a venue—it's a day-to-night
experience on one of the city's liveliest streets. The Brewhouse is a go-to destination
for foodies, sports enthusiasts, and night owls alike.

We are looking for bar backs to support our amazing team of bartenders and floor staff. You'll assist with opening and closing procedures and perform various behind the bar tasks, as well as picking up and putting deliveries away during the week. 

What's the Role?

Pretty much what you’d expect from a buzzing venue like ours:

• Assisting bartenders during rush hours 

• Refilling all bars with ice 

• Changing out beer kegs and replacing spirit bottles 

• Collect and put away deliveries during the week 

• Tidy up front of house and back of house areas during and after shift

• Collect all bins from the bars when full

This is a full time job so mid-week, major events, weekend and evening availability is a must— this is when the magic
happens!

Requirements 

• Ability to work in a fast pace environment 

• Basic knowledge of. bar menu items and recipes 

• Physical ability to lifts beer kegs, glassware and stand during shift

Essential Information

• Pay starts at £10.85 per hour (£12.71 if 21 years of age and older) with increases after successful completion of training

• Full-time hours

• Shifts across Wednesday and Thursday mornings, weekends and public holidays
