Are you a hands on hospitality leader who thrives in a busy environment? We’re looking for an experienced Deputy Manager to help lead our Daffodil team, deliver exceptional guest experiences, and support the day to day running of a welcoming Welsh restaurant known for locally sourced, quality food and drinks options, and warm service.

The Role

As Deputy Manager, you’ll work closely with the General Manager to oversee daily operations, motivate the team, and ensure consistently high standards across service, food presentation, and customer care. You’ll be a visible presence on the floor, confident handling busy services while creating a positive atmosphere for guests and staff alike.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the smooth day-to-day operation of the pub and restaurant

• Lead, train, and motivate front-of-house staff

• Deliver excellent customer service and resolve guest issues professionally

• Assist with staff rotas, stock control, and cash handling

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and compliance

• Drive sales through upselling, events, and strong local engagement

• Full understanding of scene setting within a venue

• Able to run the business when the General Manager is not present

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within hospitality

• Strong leadership and communication skills

• Passion for food, drink, and customer service

• Ability to stay calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment

• Good organisational and problem-solving abilities

• Personal licence holder preferred but not essential
