Basic food preparation: Support chefs with simple prep tasks such as peeling, chopping, portioning and assembling basic items as directed.
Waste management: Ensure correct disposal of waste and recycling, follow waste control procedures and assist with minimising food waste.
Stock handling: Receive and store deliveries, rotate stock with attention to use-by dates, and notify supervisors of low or damaged items.
Health & safety: Adhere to food safety, hygiene and health & safety procedures (including PPE) at all times.
Teamwork: Work cooperatively with kitchen and front-of-house colleagues to support smooth service periods and help where needed across duties.
Reliability: Maintain punctuality and flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays as required by service demands.
